Your article brought tears to my eyes and gave me a lump in my throat. I too went through the same ordeal and 17 years later am still struggling with the after effects. You articulated so well and I want you to know how great it felt to know there is someone out there that understands the pain, guilt and confusion that religion instills and has survived.
